How to Get to Essaouira and Sidi Kaouki from the Airport

Option 1 — Fly directly into Essaouira-Mogador

Essaouira-Mogador airport (code ESU) receives seasonal flights from several European cities. This is the fastest option: it's about a 30-minute drive to reach Tigmi Berber in Douar Achaouen.

Option 2 — Land in Marrakech, then drive to Essaouira

With more international connections, Marrakech-Menara airport is often the easier option to book. The drive takes about 2.5 hours along the regional road, with a scenic stretch through the argan forest.

A taxi from downtown Essaouira to Sidi Kaouki / Douar Achaouen takes about 20-25 minutes. Taxis are easy to negotiate per ride; for more comfort, a private transfer can be arranged on request.
